Even more exciting? We are now proudly serving as an IFB Data Waypoint in Southwark. This partnership is about to make a real difference in our local community, bringing greater access to the digital world for so many.

What Does This Mean for You?

As a data waypoint, Learn and Play CIC will be at the heart of Southwark’s push towards digital inclusion.

We’ll be directly involved in IFB Gaming’s Winter Data Care Package initiative, which is designed to offer free SIM cards to Southwark residents.

This initiative targets those who need it most – from low-income households to refugees and asylum seekers, ensuring they have access to essential online resources.

The SIM packages are provided courtesy of Vodafone, Virgin Media O2, and Three UK, via the National Databank. They offer unlimited minutes, unlimited texts, and up to 40GB of data for 12 months, all completely free.

According to John Adewole, the Founder of IFB Gaming and Primary Champion of Empowering Futures in Southwark, “in today’s world, reliable internet isn’t just a luxury – it’s a necessity for education, work, and staying connected.”

By partnering with IFB Gaming, we can bridge the digital divide and help residents in Southwark gain that access, all while feeling supported by the local community.

We’ll also provide ongoing support to ensure everyone can make the most of their new resources, whether it’s by connecting to job platforms, accessing educational materials, activities for children and young people, or just staying in touch with friends and family.
